Hi, we have 2 studios in Heights and have been told that they have or are about to be snagged, however I am still waiting for the report. Has anyone out there had there places snagged independently and if so can you recommend anyone.
Also we have just received info from FMG about managing the place and they want a considerable amount of money up front. I was not expecting this as we were told at time of purchase that the best way to deal with this was to open a Bulgarian bank account and make monthly payments out of that.

Any views or comments would be appreciated.

regards

HI Ash

I can personally recommend Alexander services (.co.uk) they cost from memory about 90 euros and send pics and follow up after the snagging has been done - its a sure fire way of also getting some photos of your apartment. There were loads of things wrong with my apartment in the suites and these are all now done (except for cleaning the balcony and the seal around the bath) which I am following up

PM me if you want further details

Hi jaymac

I don't think the bath should to sealed, I thought the same but they are designed so that when you shower etc the water just runs down the wall under the bath and runs away down the drain in the middle of the bathroom. I know it sounds strange but it works, well it did when we were out there in the summer. I just hope they remembered to tile down to the bottom behind the bath, not easy to see.

Hi Spangle

Interesting theory, i hadn't thought of that - I'll have to check the tiling but I guess if yours is the same then all is ok

Thanks for the info

It would be very interesting to know if they actually do the snagging..
Has anyone on this forum presented their snagging list and actually had the snagging done to their satisfaction (if at all)

Spangle and BJI please do not reply to this post with your propaganda answers, we all know what you are going to say before your post it, and that you have had an absolutely spiffing experience with MRI some people havent been so lucky. So could you stay off this thread and let’s see if there are others on this forum who can give us a truthful answer as to how successful the snagging has been.

BPAG, just who do you think you are? I will not bow to you, I will post wherever I like, just as you seem fit to do with your own negative vibes. In fact, what are you actually doing on this forum at all? From reading your own story on your own website you do not even own any property in any of the Aspen developments!

Let me guess, you also have a company waiting in the wings, with whom you also have a commission agreement that will be more than happy to do the snagging, LMAO!

I WAS a member of aftersales, my studios were snagged by MRI and a report was sent to me with a few minor things in Oct 08 and I was told that all had been fixed. I also decided to use Alexander services like Jaymac who sent me a very detailed report of marks and damage to walls nothing major but still needed repairing and repainting. They communicated with MRI on my behalf and then went in again to check all had been repaired which it had. When I went out in January to check all was good  Grin

I have had two new builds in the UK and both times the snagging lists were very long and took ages to sort ! all builders are the same whether , UK ,Spain , Bulgaria or where ever....

Well no surprises there, could have written that posting for you spangle we all know that you have connections LOL
... Lets heat some of the other peoples experiences have they been as lucky???
So far no-one else has posted on this thread.... I wonder why???
Is it because the directors are too busy making postings on forums to get on with the job of pleasing the customers??

Well Dominic
I can hardly believe what I am reading ....
Could it be that the directors of MRI and the CEO are now spending their days making  postings on forums??? hahaha
rotflmao
Have the directors of MRI got nothing better to do with their time than to make postings on forums pretending to be satisfied customers?? Or is it because they can no longer afford their fancy lawyers to threaten people with legal action??

I am sure that a directorship with MRI is a very coveted position nowadays with a job description like that. Brilliant.....

Hi BPAG
Just wondered what you are on?Huh

Do you think you may have lost the plot a bit??

Everybody that isnt prepared to be totally negative about MRI and companies associated with them seems to get slagged off!!

As Ive said before, Ime not MRI's greatest fan, but a lot of their problems are a result of the credit crunch ie  people failing to get mortgages and defaulting etc.

They were a very slick and prefesional marketing machine. Persuaded people to pay a bit over the odds but thats what selling is all about. There seems to be no body saying they havent provided a quality product(talking buildings here) and if things had carried on as they were I have no doubt we would have seen some appreciation in value of their property. To some extent they are victims of the credit crunch as much as we are(but with the benefit of a bigger wad in their back pocket).

So can we stop fantasising that people are MRI executives or lackys. I doubt if any MRI top brass would be partiicularly interested in this forum. But if they are the come on down!! lets have an input so that we can get the MRI perspective on things!! Grin

......but then again maybe Ime an MRI mole too Cheesy Cheesy

I am reading alot of forums at the moment looking for updates about Bansko and, in my case, Aspen Golf.

I am getting fed up to the back teeth of reading posts by 'Groups' telling us how we were ripped off, lied to, etc, and how we should join up with them.  Nobody was forced to part with their money and sign up to buy.  MRI were not the only company selling in Bansko.  They are not even responsible for the recession although I suspect some of you think they were.

I have a copy of a Channel 5 programme released in 2005 about being a property developer that states that Bansko is the next big thing and returns and rental will be fantastic, they had nothing to do with who we bought from.  I have read numerous newspaper articles stating the same, some recently.

I am also fed up with the personal attacks on members of these forums who are being positive about the current situation.  You have the right to express your anger and form groups but please allow the rest of us to have our say in these forums without resorting to accusing us of working for MRI.

Aspen Golf is looking great.  There are many developments out there that are not finished, will never be finished and in some cases were never even started.  I have something to show for my money.

Thank you,

Hi Ajay, I think you will need to contact Nikolina whose email address is - nikolina.boyadzhiyska@mrioverseasproperty.com but good luck as she isn't the quickest to respond. I think she is based in Golf.

Let us know how you get on.
