Hi, I just received the photo's of the furniture installed in our 1 bed apartment at AV, installed by MRI.
We've only got 1 sofa when we were expecting 2 and the TV looks like a very old style with the big back, not a modern flat screen/plasma etc.
Any comments on what you have received would be appreciated.
Regards

My son and I have three Studio Units in Aspen Suites.    Our furniture was installed 3 months ago.    When we visited Aspen in September and checked what had been installed against what we had paid for we found that quite a number of items were missing.   Many of them were of little cost - such as cups and saucers (though the mugs which were incuded in the kit were there), fruit bowl, side plates, teapot, milk jug, sugar bowl, tray, etc., etc.   Also the net curtains were missing (since we have ground floor Units it requires net curtains because the other curtains fitted are made from quite flimsy material).   Also, the televisions were the old fashioned kind, as has been supplied to you.
I listed everything which was missing and sent it to MRI but they have not even acknowledged receipt of my list.    I don't expect to hear any more from them.     The total cost of the missing items isn't very expensive and I assume that we will have to sort it out ourselves when we next go over.  But such items as cups and saucers, side plates, net curtains are necessary and anyone paying to rent our Units would expect to find them available.
Regarding television, Aspen Suites is not yet set up to be able to instal Sky.   There will be a charge for the installation, when FMG tell us that it is available, and then there will be a 6 euro per month charge for its use (no charge if there is no use in any particular month).    Of course, the situation with AV may be different, and you would be well advised to ask FMG to inform you of the situation.
So whilst we were there for 5 days in September we had no use of the television.
